As there are only 18 days to go until the 2nd International Conference on Learning Cities (ICLC), we are now issuing our last call for registration. To date, more than 500 participants, including mayors, city representatives and representatives of international organizations, the private sector, NGOs and academia, have registered to help shape the future of learning cities.

Third CityApp in Sidoarjo

Following the two successful CityApps in Kathmandu and Makassar, CityNet continues its partnership with Microsoft CityNext through the third CityApp which will be held in conjunction with this year’s Executive Committee Meeting and International Seminar in Sidoarjo.

100 Resilient Cities - UK HQ set up in London

100 Resilient Cities, created by The Rockefeller Foundation, has announced that it will take up residency at the Urban Innovation Centre. From today, its office space in the building will act as the organisation’s regional headquarters to serve cities across Europe and the Middle East.

Acireale as a learning city

On July 23 a meeting took place in the Palace of Tourism in Acireale, a beautiful city close to Catania, where the next PASCAL conference will be held in October. The meeting was arranged  to promote the city of Acireale joining PASCAL's Learning Cities Networks (LCN) programme.
