The 2nd webinar of the PASCAL Learning City Network dedicated to faith and spirituality was held on 25th September 2024, and focused on  art and faith in the learning city, discussing the diverse spectrum of intervention tools for supporting learning communities.

ASEAN+3 Regional Learning Cities Conference in Bangkok, 29/30 October 2024

I am very pleased to report that I am representing PASCAL at the ASEAN+3 Regional Learning Cities Conference organised by the UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok (UNESCO Bangkok) together with the Program Management Unit on Area Based Development (PMU A) of Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. Also here is Leone Wheeler, PASCAL Associate and Board Member, and long-time contributor to PASCAL's Learning City Networks on behalf of the Australian Community Learning Network.

17th PASCAL Conference kicks off in Taipei

We've receieved some early photos from the 17th PASCAL Conference taking place in Taipei. Looking great, the stage featured in the photos includes the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Taipei, current/former ministers of Education, as well as Josef Konvitz, Honorary Professor of Education at the University of Glasgow with them.

Visiting Professor from Bulgaria visit to PASCAL (AFRICA) hosted by the Centre for Economic Development, School of Economics, University of Johannesburg

It was an immense pleasure for the PASCAL (Africa) to be hosting Professor Kolev from the University of Economics in Bulgaria. His visit was mid-April, at the beginning of Autumn for us in Johannesburg, so we still had the benefits of out afternoon thunderstorms, along with our exciting displays of lightning and cold winds, typical of Johannesburg for this time of year.
