The Glasgow Human Rights Network and Glasgow Latin American Research Network, in conjunction with the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF), invite you to attend an open meeting with Colombian environmental lawyer, Ximena Gonzalez, from Tierra Digna, Colombia. Ximena will share Tierra Digna’s latest reports on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (Ruggie Principles) in Colombia, and the impacts of business on some of Colombia’s most vulnerable groups. She will use 3 case studies to explore these impacts:

Deadline for submission of abstracts for First International Legacy Network Conference extended until 31 June

The conference organisers for the First International Legacy Network Conference, to be held in Glasgow, October 14-16, wish to announce that the deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended until June 31. Decisions will be made by July 15.

Deadline for submission of abstracts for PASCAL Conference 2015 extended until 1 June

Due to a number of requests for extensions to the deadline for submissions of abstracts, the PASCAL Conference 2015 planning team has agreed to extend the deadline for their receipt until 1 June.

Sad demise - PRIA Director Dr Martha Farrell victim of Kabul terrorist attack

With deep and profound grief, we share that our colleague Dr Martha Farrell, Director, PRIA has left us all for the heavenly abode.  We received this sad news from Kabul, where Dr. Martha Farrell had gone on an official assignment. She was staying in a hotel and became a victim of a terrorist attack on the hotel.
