In this exciting event, a special Assembly was dedicated to Lifelong Learning: "THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TERRITORY THROUGH PERMANENT LEARNING CITIES AND LEARNING COMMUNITY. An international comparison of intervention strategies, starting from the Israeli Model"

This successful and inspirational Seminar, demonstrating the importance and necessity of Lifelong Learning as a driving force, for growth and development, included esteemed speakers: The President of the FVG Region, Mr. Massimiliano Fedriga, Counsilor of the Region Alessia Rosolen, Trieste Municipality Minister Serena Tonel.

It was a privilege to have Prof. Josef Konvitz of PASCAL and Mr. Konstantinos Pagratis of UIL, each gave an insightful presentation. The City of Modiin-Maccabim-Reut, the First Learning City in Israel, is an active member in the UIL and PASCAL Networks and this partnership broadens the mutual Learning opportunities and the connections between cities, countries, and cultures, such as demonstrated in the successful relationship between Israel and Italy.
