What does a liveable city mean to you? In this seminar, Dr Hanna Ruszczyk (Institute of Hazard Risk and Resilience, Department of Geography, Durham University, UK) and Dr Istiakh Ahmed (International Centre for Climate Change and Development, Independent University, Bangladesh) will present research findings from an interdisciplinary  project exploring ‘liveability’ in Mongla and Noapara in south-western Bangladesh.

From 2018–20, the Jean Monnet Sustainable Development Goals Network Seminar Series will address each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each seminar focuses on an individual Goal, offering an opportunity to explore the intent of the Goal, its targets, and some of the initiatives being undertaken to deliver on them. Israel - Italy collaboration of Learning cities

The Israeli Center for Learning Cities, in Modiin, has recently signed an agreement, the first of it's kind, with the FVG Region of Italy, during a visit to Israel under the title "Pilot Project Learning Cities" [featured below].

This agreement is the result of a mutual learning process between the Israeli Center for Learning Cities, in Modiin, and the Parliament of the FVG Region, together with the Universita delle LieberEta, Udine and the City of Trieste.
