We are very pleased that two of our Associate Directors in Europe, Balazs Nemeth and Roberta Piazza, are presenting at an ASEM LLL Hub Research Network 6 webinar on 21 September 2023 from 1000-1400 CET. The topic is the celebration in honour of UNESCO's Global Network of Learning Cities, which was initiated 10 years ago, and speakers also include former director of UIL, Arne Carlsen, and current deputy director Raul Valdes-Cotera. Both have been core to the success of the GNLC. We are also pleased that two of PASCAL's longstanding Learning City Network members, Pecs and Cork are strongly represented. PASCAL and its LCN are supporting the event.

An exciting international symposium on Museum and Heritage Education Futures will take place on September 13th at the University of Glasgow. The symposium has been organised by the Education in Museum and Heritage Education Consortium, including members of the Pascal Observatory and the Harnessing Museums, Heritage and Education Learning Cities Network. The symposium event is free and will take place in-person.
