Lord Kelvin Adam Smith Research Fellowships and Leadership Fellowships

Fully funded Lord Kelvin Adam Smith Research Fellowships for 3 years at the University of Glasgow offer great opportunities for good researchers all around the world. Within the college where PASCAL is hosted we are offering 5 scholarships in the following areas:

  • Global Security, Risk & Resilience
  • Regulation & Competition
  • Social, Economic & Legislative Transformations
  • Health, Wellbeing & Social Care
  • Social Justice, Equity & Change
  • Sustainability & Consumption

Each of these themes can be pursued within or between any of the Schools in the College (Adam Smith Business School, Education, Interdisciplinary Studies, Law, Social and Political Sciences and the Institute of Health and Wellbeing). Each Fully Funded Fellowship will run for three years and will cover salary costs on Grade 7 or 8 (£33,574 – £47,801). In addition to the salary funding, an allowance for research costs will be made at a rate of £10,000 per annum for each year of the fellowship for laboratory-based research and £5,000 per annum for each year for non-laboratory-based research. Prior to the end of the Fellowship, Fellows will meet with their line managers to discuss possible opportunities for continuing posts.

We are also offering Leadership Fellowships. These support external applicants already holding externally funded fellowships of a minimum of 3 years duration who would like to join the University of Glasgow. Leadership Fellows will be offered salary match-funding and/or a research support grant, up to a maximum value of £100k.

If you are interested in these opportunities as they relate to any of the interests of PASCAL please contact me personally at [email protected].
