Webinar: Building Institutional Resilience - 10 September 2021; 2pm to 4pm (IST)
While various institutions at the local and global levels are being involved in the capacity building around climate change, higher educational institutions need to systematically involve in the capacity building for climate adaptation. Higher education institutions across the world, especially in developing countries, need to build the capacities of their students for preparing them to address climate change.
Climate adaptation strategies need to be imbibed in the “educational conscience” of higher education institutions. To have deeper discussions on these issues, School of Art and Architecture, Sushant University, Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA) and BReUCom will be hosting a webinar on Building Institutional Resilience from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm on 10 September, 2021. The webinar aims at addressing the following questions:
- What are some of the practical ways for building institutional resilience to address climate change challenges?
- How can informal and formal institutional systems collaborate together to build resilient in the community and other institutions?
- How can educational institutions support building institutional resilience through remodeled teaching and research?
We cordially invite you to participate in this webinar. Please REGISTER. On registration, you will receive a Zoom link that will give access to the webinar.
