The Urban Big Data Centre (UBDC), in collaboration with the Centre for Research & Development in Lifelong Learning (CR&DALL) at the University of Glasgow, is pleased to invite you to a free seminar with Professor Margaret Robertson, La Trobe University, whose long-standing research includes youth studies and cross-cultural differences. Her talk on Wednesday, 25th May from 1pm - 2pm will focus on:

The pop-up reality for youth on the urban fringe: Their spaces; their time, and their futures

In her talk, Prof. Robertson will discuss her research on the lives of young people (aged 13-15 years) in outer metropolitan Melbourne, Australia, whose wellbeing is shaped by the ever expanding new housing estates along the peri-urban corridors. This research relates youth wellbeing to housing affordability, schooling, health, access to recreation spaces, and transport.

This is a free event, but places are limited. Please register your attendance on Eventbrite.

Lunch will be available to participants prior to the seminar, between 12pm-1pm.

We hope to see you there.

Sincerely,
