GNLC Cluster Conference on ‘Strengthening citizenship education at local level’
The GNLC cluster on citizenship education is organizing a virtual conference on 12 and 13 November 2020. The coordinating cities Larissa (Greece) and Yeonsu-Gu (Republic of Korea) are pleased to invite all members of the Learning Cities network and everyone interested in the topic to join the event and learn about how to strengthen citizenship at local level.
Renowned experts will give key note presentations on environmental sustainability, human rights and democracy, participation of vulnerable groups, the link to the digital world, culture and local traditions, among other themes. Cluster members will share practical approaches of how they strengthen citizenship within their cities. The youth forum provides young people around the world a possibility to actively engage in the discussion.
UIL is very pleased to support the event and would like to encourage all GNLC members to participate.
