The European Union Centre of Excellence on Smart Specialisation and Regional Policy at RMIT University invites you to this online event on smart specialisation and foundational economy approaches to regional development.
The webinar will review the implications of the debate on smart specialisation and foundational economy approaches to regional development, drawing on recent experience in Australia and in Europe to explore whether these approaches can facilitate a more balanced framework for regional innovation that addresses both economic and socio-ecological objectives. This discussion develops further the conceptualisation of smart specialisation as a resource for addressing societal missions such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This event is part of Erasmus Days 2020: Three days of celebration of the Erasmus+ programme in Europe and all over the world.
