Bristol Learning City Partnership LCN Inclusion Workshop - 12 November 2015
The Bristol Learning City Partnership will shortly be holding a workshop which is part of the PASCAL's Learning City Network series of inclusion workshops . The workshop is taking place at the St Pauls Learning and Family Centre, Grosvenor Road, St Pauls, Bristol BS2 8XJ on 12th November from 9.30 – 12.30.
The aim of this workshop is to share examples of innovative and successful activities that have successfully engaged priority communities and individuals in learning. We are particularly interested to hear about inclusive learning activities that have successfully engaged both young people and adults who face barriers to formal learning and education. We are keen to develop a better understanding of effective engagement practice to build a strong model of working in Bristol and beyond.
As part of this event, we will be sharing an update about the emerging Learning City Partnership. There will a chance to meet Learning City Challenge Group members and to hear about exciting learning engagement and inclusion work across Bristol.
In preparation for this event, we are inviting local groups, organisations and providers to put forward examples of their current provision – either to share on the day or as part of a post-event publication that will be shared widely in Bristol and with other Learning Cities.
