Appreciating Urban India: Development Policies and Practices - PRIA Academy Urban School from 10-12 February, 2020
We are pleased to announce the First “Urban School” on “Appreciating Urban India: Development Policies and Practices” on 10-12 February 2020 at Society for Participatory Research in Asia – PRIA [42 Tughlakabad Institutional Area (near Batra Hospital on Mehrauli-Badarpur Road), New Delhi – 110062]. This workshop is being organised by PRIA International Academy (PIA) in partnership with INCLUDe (Indian NGOs for Community Led Urban Development).
The objective is to prepare a cadre of practitioners from the Indian CSOs to work with the people on inclusive and sustainable urban development. This full three-day course is designed to enhance the knowledge base on urban governance in India with a special focus on public policies, programmes, and institutions related to urban development in India.
The sessions are expected to start at 9.00 am and finish at 6.00 pm. There is no course fee. All participants will receive a set of learning materials and working lunch on the workshop days.
PIA and INCLUDe are seeking nominations from professionals from the Indian CSOs to participate in the Urban School. Please find attached the Application Form to apply for the Urban School. The duly filled in Application Form must be submitted to PRIA International Academy ([email protected]) by 3 February 2020.
