The Tenth Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors Forum will be held in Brisbane on 5-8 July 2015. This initiative was taken by Brisbane to bring civic and business leaders together to discuss matters of common interest. The Summit is held every two years with the venue alternating between Brisbane and a city located in Asia. The last Summit in 2013 was held in Kaohsiung City in Taiwan.

Proposals for presentations have been invited by 20 March 2015. These would address any of the following themes selected for the 2015 Summit.

  1. Global cities - cultivating cities of talent, creativity and innovation.
  2. Digital cities - the science and technology behind cities.
  3. Future cities - developing cities and smart communities
  4. Cities for people - clean, green, accessible and inclusive cities
  5. Over 100 cities participated in the Kaohsiung Summit. A similar number could be expected for the Brisbane Summit.
