The School of Education invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Community Development on the Learning, Teaching and Scholarship Track (LTS). The School of Education, at the University of Glasgow, is committed to social justice in education and to education research and practice of the highest quality. We welcome applications from candidates keen to contribute to interdisciplinary scholarship, research and knowledge exchange, working in collaborative and interdisciplinary groups in the School of Education and College of Social Sciences in the areas of: Addressing Inequalities; Challenges in Changing Cities; Digital Society and Economy; Justice, Insecurity and Fair Decision Making; and Sustainable Development.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by delivering, organising and reviewing teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the interdisciplinary field of Community Development and to undertake scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the School of Education.
Applications are invited from candidates with a Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 12 [PhD] or equivalent, for example, substantial professional experience in related discipline with a growing reputation for scholarship within the subject area.
This position is open ended and full time.
