New Director for PASCAL Learning Cities Networks
It was announced at the recent PASCAL 2016 Conference in Glasgow that Peter Kearns would be retiring from his role as Director of PASCAL Learning Cities Networks (LCN). Peter will be succeeded by Dr Rob Mark, currently Honorary Research Fellow at Dublin City University and the University of Strathclyde, and Honorary Secretary of the University Association for Lifelong Learning (UK). |
Rob was previously Head of the Centre for Lifelong Learning at Strathclyde and has had a long career as a teacher, researcher and manager in adult learning. Rob is relishing the challenge of leading the next phase of the Learning Cities Network activities.
Peter Kearns has worked hard to build up the networks, which now embrace cities from around the world, and which was the basis of the 2016 Conference - Learning Cities 2040. Peter will continue his association with PASCAL in another role.
