Final draft of the third ICLC outcome document - "Call for Action"

The third UNESCO International Learning Cities conference endorsed the "Cork Call to Action". This involved a shift from global ideas and objectives to action at the local level.

The "Call for Action" introduced a concept of a learning city with three strands: green/healthy, inclusion/equity, and decent work/entrepreneurship.  While inclusion and equity have been traditional goals of learning cities (and environment, health and learning have been the core of PASCAL work on EcCoWell), decent work and entrepreneurship represent a new challenge for learning cities, much development needs to be undertaken in finding new strategies to progress these obectives.

PASCAL will collaborate with the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning in pursuing implementation. Please follow the link to full statement: "Cork Call to Action".
