Call for Applications to join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities
PASCAL Observatory is happy to announce a Call for Applications to join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities. The Global Network (GNLC) is an international policy-oriented network comprised of cities committed to implementing lifelong learning for all.
The GNLC offers its members the possibility to be part of a dynamic network with other learning cities sharing common interests to tackle a variety of challenges. Through the Network, members participate in the learning city case studies to share your experiences and achievements with the rest of the world and become eligible for the UNESCO Learning City Award.
The GNLC was established by the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning to support and accelerate the practice of lifelong learning by promoting policy dialogue and peer learning among member cities; forging links; fostering partnerships; providing capacity development; and developing instruments to encourage and recognize progress made in building learning cities.
The UIL and the PASCAL International Observatory have worked closely hosting webinars, case studies and other research projects. For more information about the application process visit:the UIL website.
