Bruce Wilson, Director of PASCAL, was in Brisbane on Sunday 16 November where the EU centre that he directs at RMIT co-sponsored an event with the President of the European Council (Herman van Rompuy) and the new EC Vice President Dombrovskis. Here he is seen greeting President van Rompuy.

The event followed the G20 Leaders Summit at which the EU had had significant impact. President Van Rompuy's comments on Sunday emphasised the importance of linking the overall G20 objectives of economic advancement with the broader issues related to climate, health and the values for which the EU stands.
