International Review of Education – Journal of Lifelong Learning (IRE) special issue on learning cities is now online
We are pleased to inform PASCAL subscribers that the International Review of Education – Journal of Lifelong Learning (IRE) special issue on learning citiesis now online.
This unique edition of the IRE provides both concrete examples of and insightful reflections on the learning city approach to sustainable development. In particular, the diverse settings and contexts reflected in research have demonstrated a variety of themes, modalities and approaches to the development, management and maintenance of the collaborative learning relations that are needed for a learning city to thrive.
We are confident that this special issue of the IRE will serve as a valuable reference for policy-makers, practitioners and researchers working in the field of lifelong learning. As well as featuring on the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong learning (UIL) website, it will be shared with the 205 member cities of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC).
The issue contains articles co-written by two PASCAL directors, Robbie Guevera and Mike Osborne, as well as PASCAL associates, Leone Wheeler and Kasia Borkowska.
