Korean survey of participation in lifelong learning
The Korean National Institute for Lifelong Education (NILE) has reported the results in its Newsletter Lifelong Learning in Korea oif a survey of participation in lifelong learninmg in Korea. The survey is carried out each year targetting adults from 25 to 64 years of age. With the ageing of the population the survey showed that the overall participation rate of 36.8% had decloned. deata is given for male and female participation of age cohorts from 5-34 to 55-64 showing a steady decline in participation with ageing Data vis also given for particiation based on education, economic level, and region.
