The University of Jyvaskyla in Finland will host a conference in Helsinki on 6-8 May 2015 on the subject "Culture in Sustainable Futures : theories, policies, practices. The conference is being irganised for COST Action IS 1007, a network of researchers investigating cultural sustainability, including the role and meaning of culture in sustainable development.

This subject is highly relevant to the work of the Cultural Policies Network under the Learning Cities 2020 Networks program of PASCAL, and to the Rolling Workshop the Network will convene in the period February to May 2015 involving workshops in Ostersund, Glasgow, Catania, and Pecs.  The contact for the Helsinki conference is Dr Katriina Soini at the University of Jyvaskyla ([email protected])
