Brisbane will host the 2015 Asia Pacific Summit and Mayors'Forum from 5-8 July. Since the Summit was initiated by Brisbane in 1996 over 8,000 delegates have participated from more than 400 cities. The Summit alternates between Brisbane, which hosts every second summit, and selected cities in the Asia-Pacific region. The 2015 Summit will discuss critical issues in 4 thematic areas : Global Cities, Digital Cities, Future Cities, and Cities for People. Keynote speakers include Sebastian Coe (who organised the recent London Olympic Games), Randi Zuckerberg, Sy Lau, and Tyler Brule.
