UALL Awards 2020 Applications are open!

The UALL Awards are officially open! Will you be the next winner of our innovation, sustainability, research or international category?

Application process

The submission is based on a maximum of 1000 words and can include suitable images and/ or weblinks as appropriate.

Applications must be received by the UALL Administrator by 31st January 2020

The winners will be announced at UALL 2020 Annual Conference: Diversity, identity and inclusion in Lifelong Learning: Shaping a 2020 vision for mature students at the Foresight Conference Centre, University of Liverpool, 1st - 3rd April 2020

When submitting your application you will be asked to apply for a specific award based on one of the four categories. Categories focus on the intended or actual outcome of the activity.

  • Category 1 : Innovation: this award category recognises innovations or creative initiatives that seek to expand Lifelong Learning within the U
  • Category 2 : Sustainability: this award category recognises creative Lifelong Learning initiatives with proven impact and sustainability
  • Category 3 : Research and Scholarship: this award category recognises specific research, evidence-based activity and/ or scholarly activity that promotes the significance of an aspect of Lifelong Learning. This may include items such as a dissertation, a research report or published paper.
  • Category 4: International: this award category recognises innovative engagement, including partnerships that create change in an international or transnational context

Recognition: All shortlisted applicants will be invited to showcase their nominated work at our informal dinner on the Wednesday and be available to lead the discussion with the conference delegates, offering a great opportunity for networking.
