This Special Issue of the PIMA Bulletin is to recognise and honour Chris Duke, who has stepped down as founding PIMA Bulletin Editor, after seven years. Under Chris' watch 45 Issues of the PIMA Bulletin have been published. An outstanding achievement. They are all archived and easily accessible on the PIMA website www.pimanetwork.com/bulletins. They are an amazing resource for all scholars, activists, practitioners of ALE within lifelong learning perspectives and approaches.

It is with great pleasure that we report that Professor Budd Hall has been made an Officer of the Order of Canada in recognition of 'his contributions as a pioneer in the field of Community-based research, and for his advancement of knowledge building and research capacity around the world'.

This award is administered on behalf of the sovereign, King Charles III, by the Governor-General of Canada and is how the country 'honours people who make extraordinary contributions to the nation'.

From 15 to 17 June 2022, education experts from around the world will come together for the Seventh International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VII) in Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco, to formulate and strengthen UNESCO Member States’ commitment to ensuring that all adults can benefit from learning opportunities.

The ALADIN Online Alert is a joint ALADIN initiative, produced bimonthly by the UIL Library and CDÉACF, with input from additional ALADIN members from all over the world. Its goal is to share recent online and full-text information and documents in the area of adult and lifelong learning.
