Everyone Matters - Toowoomba, a Model City of Peace and Harmony | Multifaith Multicultural Centre, April Newsletter, 2020

We hope that you and your loved ones are keeping well during this time. Apologies for our lateness for the April Newsletter, but we hope you will enjoy reading on the 'Voices of Faith' radio program sharing in this issue:

https://www.interfaith-harmony.org/index/resources/letter?id=3663

Pure Land Learning College has sleeping bag liners available for community organisations to distribute to their members for the cold winter weather in Toowoomba. Please contact us if you are interested. While stocks last.

May marks the month for Domestic and Family Violence Prevention, and we are working closely with Joint Churches Domestic Violence Prevention Project (JCDVPP) on an upcoming workshop to be held in Toowoomba when restrictions are lifted. More details will be available in the next coming months. Meanwhile, the Australian Government are supporting people affected by family and domestic violence by providing information, resources and referrals in 28 languages available at:

https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/subjects/family-and-dom...

Lastly, wishing all our Buddhist friends a Happy Vesak Day, and to all the wonderful mothers a Happy Mother's Day for this Sunday!

Kind Regards,

Meiling
